Sounds of the snow fall

Sometimes it is so quiet, I can actually hear the snow fall. And to find a spot to listen among the trees and talking geese on the river is topped off with the perfect place to sit and do just that

Lovely Winter

Winter. First impressions are cold, snow and 'can't wait till spring'. Me? I like it. I love the snow. I love how there is less chaos. No gardens to plant, no yards to manicure. No vacations to take, bikes to ride....just like nature it is a time to rest. And through my eyes, I love the textures and the shades of a neutral color palette. The shadows on the snow, the tiny flakes piled on seed heads, a leaf still clinging on a branch. I really do love winter
